  • I have one of those tiny wooden cbgs from you, Dave.   Well, I am batting only .500 on my two improvements today.  But tomorrow is a new day.

  • I think I could spend the rest of my days repairing and improving old builds. Fun to play a bunch of my roster at the art fair today. I'm making tinys for ornaments. Out of the little logs in my shop. Santa says...
  • I may try that on the steel wool, Dave.   Gary, maybe the library or newspaper has a copier like that.   Likely this box will be set aside awhile.  Lots of other projects cooking - and I am trying to make myself do some 'improvements' on old builds interspersed with building.

  • Hey Uncle, you might try scrubbing the glue residue with 1000 grit steel wool. I often clean up old graphics with this and often loose none of the old ink. I clean most of my relic builds with the wool.
  • Thanks Gary. I,ll do just that. That wagon train must be seen. I've got just the box for it...
  • Unk and Dave: make a photo worthy copy of the 'other' side, and decoupage it onto a non-descript box in the future!
  • I've got the same ? I have a Wagon train box with a wonderful illustration inside and a great top graphic. ???
  • Trouble is, it would be nice either way.  Somebody had put masking tape right over the Roi Tan label and it left a residue.  That hurts the red a little.  I may try some careful application of goo- off.

  • I'm gonna go with the majority, Red side up.

  • So far it is looking like red.
