Two strings, tuned E-B. Neck is a piece of discarded lumber I almost didn't pick up. Tone is a bit thin but still a substantial improvement over the first one. This one could probably benefit from a magnetic pickup.

Already done, at least partially. I need to post an updated photo, actually. I've done several things to it since taking this one, including adding a third string, replacing the thumb screws with real tuners, and fabricating a new bridge from a really cool looking scorpion-shaped key ring. And yesterday I ordered one of Elmar Zeilhofer's flatpups, and this guitar is going to be the guinea pig.

Pretty nice deuce. Pretty wood. Maybe paint the headstock black?
