The Truck, and The Wanderer. Still need to wire up the jack for The Wanderer. It also needs some heavy strings. I just used what I had to test it out.

    You cant use a regular piezo Radio Shack pick up on these, I am in the process of building one of these and nees all the help I can get as that is was I was going to install. Also I noticed no holes, some builders use holes, you thoughts on this......By the way nice work....I love the truck one.....

    They do resonate,......there are no cones inside, but the plates resonate a little bit. Just a slight banjo effect.

    Are the plates used as resonators or just there for looks? I just got a hold of some slick plates that I'm brainstorming ideas for, I thought about doing a foot stomper. I also have my old Illinois plates from my old T-bird: ROKNRL 4 (although, those might get fastened to my Les Paul hardshell case...)
