The amp bit is already earthed with a strap to casing so I guess thats ok. Funny tho, i did turn it on first time with a long stick and my eyes shut lol
Just looking for a suitable strip light as theres not a lot of room in there and id like it to illuminate the speaker cone - pics when done
i reckon you could take a power supply from one of the transformers Secondry outputs - you would need a multimetre to test it while its plugged in and switched on , would have thought there would be a output of around 12volts , whatch what your doing though , also the power supply lead (with the plug on the end ) does it have a earth wire aswell as the live and neutral ? - if it has a earth it may be a good idea to add a earth from the circuit board to the metal fire just to be on the safe side !
