Yup Unc, my goal was to get as close to Gus' description of his banjo as I could. I also was thinking that he was a young feller probably with not a lot of tools so I tried to avoid doing a bunch of "finish" work.
Thanks Unc. RATTY is a good compliment from you! I had already made a neck for this thing when I realized that Gus had used a guitar neck so I grafted this neck on it.
