The Chief - Tenor Guitar

24 inch (62cm) scale.Box is home made and 11x16 x 3.5 inches (26x35x9cm).I bought the sign on ebay- $6.00. The Chief was a special passenger train on the Santa Fe Railroad.Tuned DGBE or DGBD.Just strung up. LOUD :). Fair tone. Saddle too high and may need a better nut than the 1/4 inch oak nut in current use.Piezo - but intended for acoustic play - I want it to be loud enough to play at jams with factory mades. Not a winner yet, but I am optimistic that it will be. :)

  • LOL, Pat.   I played it today and liked it even better.  The action can be lowered.  I hope to gthat ideal spot where it frets easy up on the first few frets and still slides easy- without a lot of fret rattle.

  • Tonto say "Me like um nice Git Keem'o'sabe!!!

  • Thanks, guys.   It is pretty good on sound volume.  I made the box light but strong.  You will likely hear it at some point, but maybe not soon.

  • I like it!

  • F holes look good!
