Thanks for the compliments guys. This one built itself from bits and pieces I had been saving for a long time. Randy's bridge and Elmar's Original Flatpup have been sitting in my electrics box for awhile. The volume knobs are from a fence post I pulled out of the ground behind my house. Not sure what kind of wood it is, but it has been there for a long, long time. I like the slotted sound holes on this one and the zero fret.
Now it's up to Clock to make magic with it. My part is done. :) I'm glad I got to play it a bit before it went off.
I like badfinger's rustic design and custom tune knobs, but I think the clever headstock stands out as most unique and serves well pulling tension on the strings around the string trees. Plus you know it's a badfinger at first glance.
