  • Yep! wes carl, I did Say Pubs, aka; Hotels/Inns/Taverns/Cantinas/Bars/Saloons etc......................

  • "Thanks for the interest (and humour) Guys", but! I don't know what all the drama about ya-all driving there, I've heard on the grapevine that a couple of your countrymen have come up with a new invention!, I think their names were Wilbur & Orville :-)

It's even a bit of a long drive from where I currently live to the old home town, abt 1300ks/820 miles, takes abt 15hrs without stopping, which I can't do these days, and besides, there's a heck of a lot Pubs to visit along the way.     ;-) ;-) ;-)

  • Yes Uncle John I can drive a stick shift. Learned to drive on my Dad's 1949 Studebaker Truck. We will need lots of extra gas and who knows how many gallons of coffee! We can swing east and pick up Wes and leave from there. Sounds like a plan to me.

  • Sorry again, Wes.  How could I have misjudged you so?

  • Coolness, AGP!

(Unc - I think Wes is referring to a different kind of inflatable than you're thinking.  Not the ones with a 'surprised expression'!)

  • Wes, what kind of inflatables are you speaking of?  Does Kathy know about them?   Dave is in NC too.   And hey, your truck is super cab.  You drive.

  • Dave, I have a pickup, we'd need extra gas cans to carry and lots of instruments, Pepsi, peanuts and power bars.   I might get sleepy.  Can you drive a stick?

  • Hey Uncle John, I'd love to go to Australia but don't think I could drive the whole trip. If you want to go maybe we could split/share the driving time? How long do you think it will take us to get there?

  • Pretty cool.  The blues lives.
