A rebuild, really. First made with a different license plate and a different pickup that did not work well. This time with a 5 dollar holler pickup from MGB that I do like. 4 string, open G GDGB good for finger chords or slide.

  • Thanks, Doug and Jerry.  Bonus, it is pretty loud and good sounding unplugged.  About the center half of the plate has no top wood beneath it. Oh, Jerry.  An oddball fretting pattern that seemed to be a good idea at the time.  Frets 1,2,3,5,7,9, 10,as and 12.

  • Me too on the rebuilds, Alan.  I may do something with a cheap old store bought six string with no tuners that is out in my shed.,

  • The MGB 5 Dollar Holler Pup is a good choice 'UJ', "Texas" Looks Good & Sounds Good, I really like the idea of doing rebuilds of old Gits, just finished one myself, which I'll post soon. :-)
