TBG Silverliner

Silverliner. My first attempt at a Tin Box Guitar. I bought this metal Dutch biscuit (cookie) box from an old antiques store. Cut the centre picture out and inserted 3-ply guitar scratchplate laminate. Box is strengthened with ply. I thought I would try to use the laminate as a fretboard to match... a bit tricky cutting and inserting the frets, but managed it. Neck is laminated walnut and oak , lightly stained and polished. I decided to insert some shaped off-cuts and a line of fret wire along the tail and head stock to finish. Chrome bolt-ons/electrics and butterfly machine heads. It feels solid and nice to play. Tuning is presently GDG.
