  • Must be something in the water Rev. Jopliners must be MO better.

  • Thanks Korrigan, Rev., Bones, Maddog. Closing in today. Strings by noon. The yellow stripes are drying painfully slow. Some oil colors dry very slowly even with dryer medium added. Final details this morning (Wicked Bucker coming from Gitty will add later).

  • Looks great Dave!

  • Looking good, great colors!

  • I'm gonna try to share this with a couple of Joplin buddies.  Rob "Hillbillie" and Merrin "Skeleton Key".   Two great fellow CBGers!

  • Nice neck & headstock .

  • Thanks Wes. Thanks Uncle. I repainted the yellow stripes. The first coat was too pink. I mixed yellow and a touch of black to get the dirty yellow green it is now. Much more like the plate. The fretboard looks like a rail crossing gate. Like old Lionel or Marx toy train warning signs.

  • Looking great so far!
