  • Fantastic!

  • Nice!

  • Funny HB. I know you have seen the better pictures on my facebook page.  Almost finished. Hats off to Mr Gitty his new rod piezo and preamp combo is just the ticket for the reso. I am going to wire Mr. Harrison's  pickup in the morning along with a volume and tone control. The plans is to have two jacks for two amps looking for the blend for those nights Husky is working on stage. Of course he can use a y-splitter if he only has the one amp... Keeping my fingers crossed it all goes according to plan... Should have a video in the next few weeks I am expecting to deliver this build end of next week.  On a side note Red is going to get to see it at  Muddy Roots.

One more comment, Since I put the fret dots in the wrong place (Yes in some cases the 60"s were too good  to me) I have replaced it with a mother of toilet seat fingerboard. I don't think Husky knows about that yet.

  • the ultimate travelling bluesmans weapon of choice-having just stepped off a plane this morning I reckon this might just get allowed on as hand luggage-saweeet.
  • SWEET idea! Got mine going in my head... briefcase dobro though... Nice work! -Glenn

  • Well the real thought was how to make something interesting and take advantage of a full size cone.  The larger cone and extra space gives a much more mellow tone. Also these cones are meant to handle the tension of 6 strings.  Lastly most working performers appreciate the ability to play all night long on a six string instrument.  Thanks for your comments.
  • Great idea on the busking container.
  • Yes! The idea is to actually lay the top on the ground for busking... Of course Husky doesn't need the money. He'll probably leave it in the Bentley....Hehhehe
  • That is looking incredibly good.  Can you remove the top of the case to actually play it?
