I prefer a more conservative version of steampunk builds. I try to make the guitar take center stage with functional and decorative elements that fit the theme. Just my preference.
I'm doing my first steampunk box, i like your headstock, even if maybe it's to simple for me, but i know how it's hard to work with watches elements !! That i don't understand here is : where will you put the tuners ??? Is it a reverse ?? The tuners are at the tail ?? Cause if they're not how do you think you will put 3 or 4 tuners on this headstock ???? I personaly did the tuners holes before to put the watches elements .....
Thanks guys. The strings descend into the 4 large sprockets. I needed a wear surface so they wouldn't cut into the wood. Then I got a little out of control.
