That copper coil is the earth strap, made by winding a welding rod around a screwdriver. Inside its securely fastened to the strengthened box, so ya can hang ya strap on it too.

I like the key hole plate/ jack hole plate. Wish I had some of those I would borrow (steal) that idea.
