Dave: Your work is beautiful! Reminds me of my mom (1925-1982). She went to college to study art at age 48, graduated in '79 at 53. We were in the same graduating class, same university. Her favorite medium of art was ceramics. Yours is, as I said, beautiful. BTW, once you start making 2 1/2" ceramic slides, what price are you thinking? (Also, BTW, I'm wondering if Shane, being a dude and all, likes being referred to as "the Stub King". Just sayin'.)
I know Uncle. Stubs are new to me too. I’m liking them. Shane is doing great tutorials using 1 1/2 inch Stubs. I’m learning fun riffs off Shane. He’s the Stub King. I glazed some longer ones Thursday. Not quite 2 inches before firing and I will throw a batch of longer ones next batch. The taller slides will have more space for illustrations. Now I just have to wait for firings. I’m dependent on my studio mates to fill the kiln. I ride along with the studio firings. There will be about 2 a month this Winter. My slides fit in as fillers without taking any space away from the pottery.

You are indeed an Artist of the highest order Dave! These are just Beautiful! The ones with the cbg players really stand out.
Dave, those are great. I don't play worth a poop with stubbies. When you make some longer ones, I will want to buy one. So COOL>.
