  • Thanks, Bob.  Everybody likes something different in slides.  That taper helps me out and it is nearly indestructable.   I showed up at a friend's (the Maddog) with a busted red Rocky Mountain Slide in my pocket.

  • First tapered brass I've seen, like it!.. maybe I should get out more...

  • Beautiful line up of Dave's bespoke slides... and the likeness is astounding!

  • Dave, it is quite forgiving to my sloppy style.

  • Ooh, that tapered brass looks swell Uncle. Do you ❤️ It?
  • Thanks guys.  I will go look at that bone slide.  We all like something different in slides.  The bone ones I tried seemed to 'grabby' on the strings.

  • Lovely set of Dave Lynas Slides 'UJ', and a very nice Dunlop Brassy, My fave slide is a Dunlop J224 Heavy Wall, and of course my Lynas Ceramic is not far behind!, along with some strings, I recently purchased a nice "T- Bone Solid Cow Bone Slide from Gitty, which he describes as having a somewhat large inside diameter of 7/8" (22mm), which just happens to fit the Pinky of the "Hamfisted Bricky"  :-D

  • Love them Lynas slides.
