Skinny Box Fiddle

This one was an experiment to see how box size affects tone. Very similar to the "frustrating" fiddle but this one's 4 3/4" wide and the previous one was over 6". A much thinner tone with this one.

    Thanks Unc. Yup, I considered taking a torch to it. Actually an inlay around the outer perimeter is what I may attempt.

    Jim,   the necks great, the shape is good, the sound holes seem right. 

    It seems to me that it's missing something visually on the box end.   Not sure what.    Playing with fire or shoe polish around the edges maybe.   Just needs something for the look to go from nice to very nice.  Love that tail piece....   Dang.   Some kind of color or decoration....
