damn --- frets. you've upped the game. (I'm actually glad i've been playing my fretless CBG1 so much --- forced me to learn/invent some techniques to iso notes and phrases cleanly ... frets will just be a bonus
Hi Eric. Our comments overlapped. The neck is now fretted with normal fret wire. I decided not to use front facing fret markers but just to have the side ones. The neck is also shaped properly now as you can probably see from the later shots. Thanks again. John
LOVE THE SIDE DOTS! Oh and instead of frets (did I glean from comments here that you're gonna leave the slots as markers and not fret them?) if not, you seem great at inlay type stuff with the little copper side dots etc...why don't you find a nice light colored plastic material or a light wood you can make little slats from and inlay them to your slots (level with the fretboard) Boy this looks great.
BASTARD! This shit is sick -- i wish I had a tool bench and some good tools --- I'm hacking away with files and hacksaws and various ill-purposed power tools on my living room floor. One reason I'm going for the grindhouse relic treatments on my bulids.

I have to admit that now the frets are in the markers don't show up nearly as well as they did. Still, I'll just have to see how it is when it's finished and make changes to the next one if needed.
