trying to work out using part of the french horn as a bridge for the stringsd to sit on .hopefully the sound will be amplified through the horn ,could be interesting

Or...... make up a biscuit bridge with the narrow end of the horn directly below it.... might have to cut the C bend into a right angle, but it should amplify nicely
