Schoolhouse Rock

These two guitars were built from reclaimed wood from the two room Ischua school house that my dad went to. The school was built in 1894 making the wood well over 130 years old. Huge sentimental value to me. Great building something out of wood I knew my dad and Grandparents would have touched in the lifetime. Extremely hard maple. Dulled tools quickly. Very fun and rewarding project.

  • Epic pair!

  • Almost twins! Looking mighty fine Roger.

  • "Sweet", Love the fact that you used reclaimed Timber, especially when it has some Family Nostalgia attached to it, also love those Laminated Necks :-)

  • Fantastic looking guitars and a big GOOD on you for using the wood from your dad's old schoolhouse!
