It all looks remarkably calm in this picture, but it's hard work keeping a class of inner-city 11 year olds on task. A lot of prep work goes into these days, and it's very demanding on the staff and students, but what made it for me was on the second time we did it, one young lad said "That was the best day at school EVER"....Thanks to all the staff at Park View School, and Robin of Busker Guitars for supply of FREE parts.

  • man school was never this cool when i went.good man for getting the younguns involved.might spark some future star into action aswell.
  • That was the 3rd one at the same school..so there's another 2 sessions to do. Whether it continues next year is another matter...budgets are tight and this is an expensive activity to run, as it needs a lot of staff time, and although I can supply a lot of the stuff free, even at cost price, the materials all stack up.
