Nah, it's a normal fretted guitar with a V shaped neck. :-) Check out the video I just uploaded. I'll make one with a song of mine, so you can hear it how it blends with singing, tambourine and harp.
If you build one, remember to make an angle at the headstock. I forgot that, and it takes a bit more effort to string it. Not a big problem, but it would be better without it.
