Roi -Tan

Don't play on the RR tracks. This was a fun and easy build. scrap pine, a Kmart yard stick that I sanded off the K-mart advertising. GDG tuning. One of the pre-wired piezos I got cheap on ebay early this year. Scrap oak heel.Sounds good, plugged or un. Built to gift to a local man - one of my CBGs went for $150 at a church auction. Will gift this to the guy who ran up the bid but lost the auction.

  • Nice build and a fine gift.  That's a labor of love!

  • Nice Gesture 'UJ', I'm sure a lot us have done it, but brings back childhood memories of placing a Penny on the RR Tracks and waiting for a train to flatten them!, also reminds me of one of my fave RR songs: "Smoke Along The Track" - Stonewall Jackson :-)

  • Thanks, Bob!
  • Fun and Easy is the way UJ.  A CBG built to stop a train in it's tracks!  Nice box that goes and "glows" well with the neck!
