I would have made them into a necklace, Dave. Your ideas are more commendable. You could also put them on a dowel and help break Wes and me of our puns.
I think this will plenty annoying without the help of jingles. The combination of learning to play bowed instruments and a high pitched banjo is plenty nuff. Sides, I ain't no cowboy.
Wes, does your dowel fit tight? I've saved the jingles. They'd be good jack plates. Not to mention miniature reso guit cover plates. Wheels on little clown cars. Pasteys. Want some Uncle?
Thanks Jim. She sounds quite good. I stayed up late stringing up. It's easy to play. Low action. Good natural skin head for a cheap tambourine. It has a definite mid eastern tone. I've not bowed a banjo before. Nice bright tone to annoy my band mates with come Monday music.

Looks great Dave!
Now back to the slapstick highjinx ;-)

Wes, that is a new LOW. (Good one!)
"Ditto" all prior comments by our learned friends!
Annoying folks is the whole point of the banjo family!
Looks good, but it needs jingles.
