Anonymous; I didn't get your reference until I looked up Pete Regan Guitars,and found the reference to Huntsville, Alabama. The one I built was inspired by a Shane Speal video about such an instrument, and I believe he said the builder was from Huntsville. When I saw the video I couldn't find any information, so I just winged it and built the pictured 2-string from my memory of that video. I have done a bit of steel sculpture in the past, and this tied in nicely with my home-brew guitar hobby. It took a LOT longer than I thought! I probably have 20 hours of welding and machine work in that beast. I can usually build a cigar box instrument in one evening.
