Yup, those cheaper roadworn things are pretty awful huh - and there are soooo many to choose from. Talk about milking it for all its worth. He, Fender.... come up with something new already!!

aye fender do do them and it looks fairly convincing on the expensive models, but I saw the cheaper 'roadworn' series in a shop the other week-so badly done it was embarrassing..truly.
Looks great Roosterman-the tricks not overdoing it I suspect.

Nah, the "vintage" look is nicer - hey even Fender do it these days (for silly money) - sort of conjours up thoughts of well-worn Esquires.
