    Thanks for the kind words folks. Yes, Diane, it has a spruce sound post just behind the treble leg of the bridge and also a bass bar. Don't know if these really make a difference in this rather crude instrument, but it sounds pretty good to my untrained ears and kicks ass when it's plugged in to my tube amp.
