  This neck has between 0.5 and 1.0 degrees of neck angle (the slot under the lid is angled accordingly).
  
  I am contemplating trying to increase the relief, as well as filing / cutting the bridge.

  I decided to cut the piece out between the neck and tail stock, I was then able to shim the neck and give it 1 to 2 degree of neck angle which lowered the action considerably. Check Jim Farris's Macanudo build vid

  If a bridge is too tall it is time to do some cutting!
