String #’s = .95 (G), .105. (D), and .155 (A tuned down to G).
They sound ok, ‘tho acoustically, they’re not loud enough for me… at least on Blues Cat. I’ll make a piezo-powered bridge at some point, but for the time being, I just clip a piezo to the existing bridge. The strings come plenty long enough, but I had to trim a bit of the thickness of the ends to fit ‘em into the standard electric bass tuner pegs. Anyway… I used ‘em more for The Look. FWIW, if I did another upright, I’d probably go with regular bass strings.
