  Dan, No I was careful about the heat. but the way I understood it from Ben was I put the speaker ground on the main ground which blew out the black chip on the board. But I could be wrong, My soldering is pretty good but I lack the knowledge of electronics.

  Burned out while soldering? Make sure you use a heat sink to avoid that.

  Thanks, This is my first attempt and I failed. Turned out I burnt out a chjp on the board . Ben at CBgitty said I need a new board. I really want to see what it is suppose to sound like, But until then I have my micro cube which is really quite good.
