I wanted the tuners to match the pot, so I tried spray painting them. Seems to have worked out so far, we'll see how they hold up. Extended the fretboard by about 3/4" past the zero fret which combined with the 14 degree scarf gave me a place to notch in string guides.

T.H. - I hear you about hating to make nuts! I'm not even all that happy putting in a v-groove to hold a 'bolt' nut! I also like the built-in string guides - very nicely done! And as always, I appreciate the careful placement of the tuners to 'linearize' the strings. (Maybe I have a hint of OCD???) Cheers!
Thanks John. Yup, that was part of the plan. I've been doing most of my necks this way since I stumbled on it a while back and this one came out just about perfect. I really hate making nuts.
