I think this one came out really well. Sounds awesome!This is also the first time I've used Danish Oil to finish the neck, and I gotta say I dig it. It really brought out the color in the inlays, and makes the maple look almost 3D. Plus it's relatively quick and easy...

  • Nathan, yes I noticed they are shorter but that doesn't interfer with my builds. I get them at Walmart. Thanks for the info on your beautiful build
  • Al, I usually post that info on the main album page for each guitar, but your question made me realize I forgot to with this one. It's tuned to an open E with 25, 32 and 42 acoustic strings, on a 25.5 inch scale.

    And as an aside, the First Act string from Target are not too highly recommended by yours truly. The price is right, but has anyone else noticed their strings are much shorter?
