Thanks, gents! The main neck's oak almost looked quartersawn. The oak fretboard had more of a 'flamed' look. I'll need to build my own 4-stringer to tune and play.
Hey, a FOUR. Looks great. I am kind of sad to see that it is leaving your hands. You better play it a bit and consider making one for your self. Top marks on the headstock and sound hole. I never seem to think about 'alternative' sound holes like that.
Keep in mind, it may take a while for 4 string playing to kick in.
