Hi Guys..well I reckon all in all it was a success..there was around 60 people there, nice venue..rather smart hotel in a Warwickshire country town, and some good players (Michael Messer, Tom Doughty, Lucy Zirins, and my favorite of the day, Basil and Pat Henriques doing some wonderful Hawaiian stuff) . They had a specially brewed "Bottleneck" beer brewed for the day by the micro brewery..which sold out!
I had my stall there, and sold a few bits and pieces, so made my money back on the day. Unfortunately my cigar box demo / workshop session got dropped as they'd double booked me with Tom Doughty....but it was a first time event and these things happen. It will happen again..so I'll keep you posted of further developments.
Speaking of further developments. I'm still doing my homework for the 2010 Cigar Box Guitar Festival, but hope to be announcing a date and venue within the next month.
