    I've seen some beautiful lap steels with lights in them. From end to end. Very Las Vegas.

    Yeah Dave that was a thought I had too,,,,,but for the first one here I just want to see how the glass frets will work out...I do have Pyrex glass tubes...those would work for the lighting up idea..was looking at fiber optics as the light source.
