Antiqued scroll and peg box

There's a ukulele tuner on the bass. Two pack of banjo tuners on the trebble. I've got her tuned AEA. One note up from my normal GDG. I used cello strings (first, second and third). Viola strings fell short.

  • I keep needing to use cello strings. The violas were just a tad too short. I do have one really good string on her. The middle string is Red Lable D string worth 19$ alone. The other two are Alice cheapest. You can tell the difference. Boy, I had fun playing her tonight. We had three fiddles, washtub bass, accordion, banjo, two mandolins, guitar and mountain dulcimer. Fun!
