    Thanks for the building tip Uncle John. That pretty box is begging to be turned into a paint can lid reso CBG. Used one of the "Phillies" boxes to build a diddley bow inspired by Ben Baker's "hobo fiddles". Pics when the tung oil dries.

    Mr. Vern, those are treasures.  I sometimes flip the top and use the inside at the guitar top.   That newer box at top left is sure pretty too.
