I'll be making two or three necks from this long stick. The oak was out in the weather for several years in my backyard. Perhaps it was a cry for help that landed me on top of this stick? It has stayed strait, hard as rock and spalted in flecks of green and black. My ribs will probably still be swore before I use up that stick.

Thick goat skin with an area of near transparency. You can see the color of the rim and the fruit painted inside. The neck is old oak. It's my revenge neck. This is the oak stick I impaled myself on when I broke my ribs six weeks ago. Sweet Revenge...
