  • Jim on this one you can look in the big sound hole and see the painting too. My tail stick hits the center of it, but it still looks good.
  • I'll be making two or three necks from this long stick. The oak was out in the weather for several years in my backyard. Perhaps it was a cry for help that landed me on top of this stick? It has stayed strait, hard as rock and spalted in flecks of green and black. My ribs will probably still be swore before I use up that stick.

  • Looks good Dave. I'm glad you found a way to get a peek at the inside painting. My ribs got broke when I slipped carrying firewood a couple years ago. I burnt the culprits but you got a better revenge!

  • Thick goat skin with an area of near transparency. You can see the color of the rim and the fruit painted inside. The neck is old oak. It's my revenge neck. This is the oak stick I impaled myself on when I broke my ribs six weeks ago. Sweet Revenge...
