  Thanks for the advice Henry an yes that's a pencil for the nut. I cut small grooves into it and it works great!

  If you have a friend who is into RC cars,boats, planes etc asked them if they have any servo mounting grommets they are not using. Most everyone I know if the rc scene never uses them and they come free anytime they are buyin a servo.

  Uncle John thanks for the tips! I've tried super gluing washers to protect the strings but the pop right off. But the rivet idea is a great one! Thank you sir

  Got a good look there.  Seems somehow right.  Kind a pretty and kinda rough.  You may need to add pop rivets or washers if the strings eat into the wood.  Lots of ways to string and tune deuces.  I love G & G octave tuned.
