John pilfer- it was an accident! I cut the f hole and decided to add the other sound holes later on. I looked down and saw the face! My wife seen it and wanted me to add some ears to it.
Uncle John- the picture doesn't really do the stain justice. I did one coat and wiped off the residue five minutes later. The ebony gives it a kinda rustic, beat up look. Idk if I'll use it again though.
Neil, You got me with that one. I have been looking at that top for at least 5 minutes and I am still smiling. That is probably the most creative sound hole design I have seen yet. Do we call it the Ritter smiling cat top? What ever you call it I am going to steal borrow the idea. Very well done. Keep up the good work.
