  • Avo boxes are one of my favs. Avo Uvezian is famous jazz pianist and cigar manufacturer.

  • Thank you MD ! Thanks AGP ! I used New Zealand Pine from the Home Despot., I look for quartersawn pieces. Lots of different Pines over here., I never have problems with necks bowing, but I mostly build 3 n 4 strings.I also avoid wood that isn't dead flat or slightly convex. I try to watch out for wood that is not properly dried. If I was building a 6 string I might use a truss rod, or a 3 piece neck. A 3 piece neck with a fingerboard glued on acts like an "I" beam, pretty stiff.,.,Keep up the great builds !!

  • "Nice build Jerry", what type of Pine did you use?, and do you have any problems with the Neck bowing?, I have used Cypress Pine in the past with no problems, but have never used, what we call Radiata Pine in the land of Oz, (I think it's known as Monterey Pine in the US) because I've read it bows and is not recommended for Necks??.

  • Nice clean build Jerry! Lucky co-worker  :-)

  • Thanks UJ .,.,the new owner was stoked.,.,I gave him the "coworker" price.,.,$40.,.,hard work trying to undercut the Chinese Factories .,.,LOL .,.,

  • Sure looks good in full size.

  • well I'm still squashing pics.,,.I gotta quit being so lazy.,,.the last 4  builds have turned out really well.,.,guess its time to move out of my comfort zone.,,.
