One Machine Head was missing, and the rest were rusted & gunked up, so soaked them in an Oxalic Acid for a few days to clean them up.

  • Originally didn't have any intentions of trying to go overboard with this rescue, but have ended up, sprucing it up a bit with light re-sanding and re-lacquering, the bridge on this one is from another wreck rescue, which has been made a bit higher for Sliding with the addition of a 6mm piece of ply glued to the bottom, and will be floating, not glued to Soundboard, the Tailpiece will be similar to the one I made and used on a previous build a few yrs back :-)

  • Good wishes on the save. I would use a metal tail piece rather than trying to make the bridge stay down and in place.
