  • Thank you Doug

  • Well executed theme guitar! All the elements work well together. I especially like the body shape. You have a winner CLG!

  • I think you did it.  Good on you.   GDGB uses the 4 middle strings from a six set.  You can play it like a GDG with an extra string.   Open is G.   Boogie note and Em are the same: 3rd fretted at two.  C chord is string one fretted at the first and string 3 fretted at the 2nd.   D7 is the string one fretted at the first and string two fretted at the second.  Nice to chord, slide or both.  Sounds fuller and richer than just GDG.

    • JJ, I used mod podge. I've been using it for about 5 years with lots of experimenting and fumbles. I'm using the dishwasher safe version of it. I actually tried to put the zombie girl on the front 2 times and fumbled them both so this is lucky to me.
  • Nice UJ , I'll give that tuning a try. I wanted to build something some simple but versatile and totally me.

  • How did you do the image transfer? I like this build. Looking good!!

  • I like what you are doing. Nice shapes and images and just a mild crudeness that says home made, roots and soul. Plus you have gone 4 string. I really prefer 4s to 3s, but like both. A four in GDGB is my fave thing to play. Finger chords (G. C, D, Em), walks, and slide.
