  • Uncle John, thank you and I understand your comment, I’m in Australia and we don’t have a ready supply of Cigar boxes, my first was cigar box’ ish and I thought I would see what I could do with this being the second instrument I have built. I don’t even know how to play the damn thing yet, still learning haha! I have it tuned to open G at the moment, just finished it on the weekend. A friend at work had a play and it sounded great in his hands, he loved it and is in the process of building another guitar himself. Will be interesting to see what the sound differences are.

i will do a few more CBG style guitars in the coming month or so, I really like the style and sound of the one I just finished though.

    Cheers Cal

  • that's got class .

  • I am not being unkind critical.  I just don't categorize this as a cbg.

It is a very nice tenor guitar, which is one of my fave things to play.  We appreciate good luthery.  How are you tuned?

  • Thank you

  • xcellent job Calvin.,.,.
