Here is a closeup shot of the mounting bar with the three tuners mounted closely together. You'll want to use long mounting screws, especially for the middle tuner. My tuners all have the string hole about mid-way up the tuner shaft. Using tuners with holes at the end of the tuner shaft might require lowering the tuners deeper into the box, but doing it that way may also keep you from having my "long shafts" extending a bit too far above the sound board.
