My Headless Stick Dulcimer #1, Build Photo 1

This headless design allows for a shorter instrument, ideal for packing in a suitcase when traveling. The weight of the tuners is now positioned in the sound box making the instrument easier to handle with your fretting hand. In this photo, I have mounted the 3 tuners in a cross bar that mounts on the box through a cut out on the tail end of the sound box.

    Hi Brian,

    This photo was 1 of 9 taken of the instrument and uploaded to CBN. They are all grouped together in a photo album at this link. The instrument also sounds very nice.
