Here is the other side view of my 4th CBG showing the neck brace (heal) as well as how the tuners are attached to the headstock. If you look closely, you will see a crack developing along the side due to the stress of the tuned strings. For that reason, I loosen up the strings when not playing the instrument.When tuned, I find the instrument difficult to fret without the strings buzzing. It may be that the frets are installed too low as I sawed a slot for the baling wire to lay in (in addition to drilling out both ends of the fret slots for the staple-like legs). Maybe next time I'll use a heavier gauge wire that sits up a bit higher. If my memory is correct, the bailing wire I used was 18 gauge.
