i used a cap that goes in a tube that makes a spool that upholstery welt is rolled on,the same type of caps are used on rolls of paper in the paint-n-body shops.the cap is used to reduce the size of the hole in the tube so that the roll can have a pipe passed thru it to put it on a holder of some type that is at table level to make what ever is on the roll easier to pull out onto the table. that is the black thing Nathan.
