I have the electronics hooked up. I tested it and it works. Now I need to figure out some sort of control cover and put on all the finishing touches.

Hey Uncle. I'll get a video together once I get her finished. I tested it out and a magnetic pickup will respond to the vibrations in the steel. It's not really different from strings vibrating. I know most folks use piezos on washboards, but Shane Speal did this trick long before I did.
Interesting to us a mag pup. Demo? I had a nice washboard guitar and gifted it to some one who uses it as a wall hanger. It was best suited for wall hanger and occasional playing use. I kind of miss it.
