Pat, Maddog, came over today and brought this cool snowman for Linda. Pat makes a wide variety of things. The snowman was made from a chunk of tree he picked up. It cured for months in his shop and then he turned it on the lathe.Pat and I had good time playing and guitar sampling, etc. Linda had to work late and missed him, but was sure pleased with the snowman.PS: it looks great, but has poor tone accoustic.

I'm glad you like it Linda, John showed me you had some snowmen in the house already so he'll have some good company :-) Sorry we missed each other Linda, I'll make sure you're both going to be there on my next trip to Harlan.
John and I had a blast today just talking and playing, I also learned a lot. I told John I learned more from him in one afternoon about playing than I could in a year by myself. He's a good teacher. John has a nice shop and the Mancave is just plain Cool! I'm already looking forward to the next visit!
P.S. I thought about dropping a humbucker in Frosty's belly but I thought nah, he's just for lookin' at.
